Weather Testing
A window (1600 x 1600) using T-PiVOt and Mila central locking gear, weather tested against the requirements as defined in BS 6375 pt 1:1989 achieved the results below.
- Exposure Category: 2400 pascals
- Air Permeability : 600 pascals
- Water Tightness Limit: 600 pascals
- Resistance to Wind Loading: 2400 pascals

Pivot Windows are an alternative to casement or TBT/TNT Windows. As their name suggests, pivot windows can be rotated through 180 degrees for safe cleaning maintenance from the inside. Rather than being hinged at the corners, either top or side hung, the window is 'hinged' in the middle and pivots them 180 degrees.
Similarly to TBT/TNT Windows, weather-sealing is achieved via central locking gear operating roller cam or mushroom cam espags.
While for child safety many pivots feature a restrictor catch that limits opening to 100mm.
